Videocast

Woohoo I just made a little video. Nothing too special but its something. Does anyone know if I can make the video box appear smaller on my blog page? I really don't want my big head taking up half my page. LOL Let me know if anyone knows how to fix that. Thanks.

Well done!!
I think you can select the size of video window in the TeacherTube account. You have embedded the whole video on your sidebar, which is fine.

You can also embed, what is what is called a badge, which gives a much smaller player and provides an opportunity to hit a link.

If feeling up to the challenge, you can read the HTML code in the blogger editor and simple change the numbers in your code. For example, it will say 354 x 120. You just change these windoes to 33 x 12 and it will be only 10% of what it is. However, I must warn you, if you do not know what you are doing, record it carefully so you can change back if you mess up your blog. Even if you do, it sure is worth the learning that takes place.

Jason is correct to suggest that you can change the HTML coded for the size of the display on your blog but unfortunately it doesn't reduce the size of you video it just reduces the size of the display so you end up getting a corner of your video visible as it plays. Kinna weird.

If you are concerned about the size of the display it is probably better just to include the link to your Teacher Tube video.

Either way, as Jason says, you are learning valuable things. Don't work about messing up your blog, you cant really hurt it and you can always start from scratch.

Isn't it great knowing that we have learned so much. Just think you are now on the wide world web...in video form!
